GOP seeks written assurance

The Davidson County Republican Party is concerned about one-sided voting from the Democratic members of the newly appointed Davidson County Election Commission.

The reason for the concern is that Commissioner A.J. Starling, director of political affairs of the Tennessee AFL-CIO Labor Council, is employed by Commissioner Eddie Bryan, the secretary/treasurer of the Tennessee AFL-CIO Labor Council.
