Nick Glaser never believed he couldn't come home again.

The Nashville Metros are glad the 22-year-old Middle Tennessee native is playing soccer here, and the defender/midfielder who once graced the pitch at Hendersonville High School is happy to begin his pro career with a team he rooted for just a few years ago.

"I absolutely love it. It could not have come out better for me," said Glaser, who recently completed a four-year stint at the University of Memphis. "I wanted to come back home because my family's here. Coach Mosen's great as are the guys on the team, and the fan support is tremendous.

Having my family here to watch games is just what I wanted. There's nothing better than that."

Glaser has seen limited action so far
