Hurdles remain for Hwy. 100 housing development

The Metro Planning Commission is expected to disapprove next week a Bellevue town house development proposed since 1996.

However, commission Chairman James Lawson says the development, to be set on 31 acres near the easternmost Old Hickory/Highway 100 traffic light, should eventually be approved once the developer incorporates recommended changes requested by various city groups.
