If you can

If you don't like catching small bass, lots of bluegill, a few crappie, hefty catfish and some battling hybrid (Cherokee bass), then you don't need to go fishing here in Middle Tennessee.

Every day I hear from area anglers about their fishing success on Percy Priest, Old Hickory, Kentucky and Barkley lakes. From Percy Priest Lake I hear about all the small bass being caught daily on topwater lures, jigs, pork rind, Texas and Carolina rigged plastic worms and lizards, and also crankbaits like the Rattle Trap, Bandit, Shad Rap, and spinnerbaits.

Crappie anglers on Percy Priest are going deep
