Interstate construction projects

Interstate 40 east of Nashville Lane closures possible at exit 216, Donelson Pike, due to construction On Thursday, Jan. 4, and Friday, Jan. 5, there will be periodic rolling roadblocks on I-40 westbound from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. between Old Hickory Boulevard and Donelson Pike. Traffic will not stop, but will be slowed so that beams can be set.

Interstate 65 north of Nashville at Briley Parkway Possible delays due to ongoing construction. At 1 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, there will be rolling roadblocks on I-65 in both directions to allow for blasting. All lanes will resume pace once cleanup is complete. At 1 p.m. on Saturdays, traffic will be stopped on Ellington Parkway in both directions to allow for blasting. All lanes will reopen once cleanup is complete. This schedule will be in effect until at least mid-February. Work is weather permitting

Interstate 24 southeast of Nashville, between Haywood Lane and I-440 Possible delays due to ongoing construction.

Interstate 65/Interstate 24 interchange north of Nashville Motorists may encounter lane closures on both I-65 and I-24 at the interchange due to work to replace three bridges.
