Kats' artistic Downey executes 'draw' play

Picasso used to draw a few lines on a napkin, hand it to a waiter and pay for his dinner in a pricey restaurant.

Nashville Kats lineman Pat Downey has been known to pass the time away on a road trip sketching caricatures of his teammates, which he gives away for free. Downey, who is as passionate about his art as he is about knocking down the guy in front of him on the football field, has his art for sale in a gallery in Franklin. But he is still finding it difficult to come to terms with the fact that people might be willing to buy what he paints.
