Lake Providence begins work on new church for 3700 members

A new 102,000-square-foot building is a step closer to reality for the congregation of lake Providence Missionary Baptist Church.

Construction began this week on the $14-million facility on a 36-acre site in the 5800 block of Nolensville Road. . T.W. Frierson Contractor Inc.expects to complete the work in December 2002, according to Bob Upton, senior contracts administrator for the company.
