Dee Waine Bumpus, 19, is being held in lieu of $450,000 bond in connection with three separate cases while detectives continue to investigate his potential involvement in other area robberies.

Bumpus, of Westchester Drive, surrendered at police headquarters Friday evening on three outstanding warrants that charge him with the June 19 robbery of Cash-N-Dash and the June 26 attempted robbery of Title Max in Goodlettsville. He is also charged with the July 3 robbery of the Cash-N-Dash on Dickerson Pike.

Witnesses in all three cases were able to identify Bumpus as the suspect after viewing photo lineups. He remains under investigation.

Where did we as a society fail this person? Who in society made this man go into three quick cash businesses and rob them? Obviously this man was forced, against his will, to commit these acts.
