A suspect in the Tuesday afternoon fatal shooting of a teenager during a dice game surrendered to Metro police Wednesday at a home in Hermitage.

Officers and detectives, including SWAT team members, arrested Mitchell Scott, 26, Wednesday afternoon at 3829 Bonnacreek Drive. Police said Scott was in the home with three others, who came out first and confirmed that Scott was still inside. Scott surrendered at the direction of an officer using a bullhorn.

Police arrested Scott on a warrant for criminal homicide following the shooting of Trammel Wilson, 18, outside 155 Welworth Street in Madison.

Wilson and several others were participating in a dice game, according to police, when Scott, who was not involved in the game, approached and shot specifically at Wilson.
