Imagine you are a 16-year-old youngster playing baseball, and on the mound bearing down on you is your idol.

To make this encounter worse, he is mad at you. This incident happened to Clinton "Butch" McCord, a Nashville native and a former Negro League player. His idol at the time was the great Satchel Paige.
