Groups of stakeholders at Tennessee State University will have the opportunity to meet the four finalists in the school’s presidential search this week.

Candace Campbell Jackson, vice president and chief of staff at the University of Akron, visited the campus on Monday.

The week’s schedule also includes: Bennie Harris, vice president for development and alumni relations at Lipscomb University, on Tuesday; Ainsley Carry, vice president for student affairs at Auburn University, on Wednesday; and Glenda Gover, dean of the College of Business at Jackson State University, on Thursday.

Each of the candidates will participate in meetings and forums with faculty, students and government officials. Forums from Monday to Thursday at 10:15 a.m. to 1 p.m. will be streamed live on TSU’s website.

Detailed information on the campus visits is available on the TBR’s site.

Following the campus visits, Tennessee Board of Regents Chancellor John Morgan will receive feedback from the search committee and make a recommendation to the board for approval.

The TBR expects to have a new president in place by January 2013.
