Memorial service set for Nashville woman killed in Utah climbing accident

A memorial service for Nashville native Lisa Froeb, who died in a climbing accident in Utah last week, is being held at 3 p.m. at Benton Chapel on Vanderbilt University’s campus.

A reception will follow the service at 4:15 p.m. at the Owen Graduate School of Management, where Froeb’s husband, Luke, is an associate professor.

Lisa Froeb is survived by her husband as well as her children, Halley and Jake. Lisa Froeb was a board member at Magdalene, a local residential program for women recovering from lives of prostitution, sex trafficking and addiction. She was also a personal trainer.
