Rabies vaccination clinics will be held Saturday, March 24 and Saturday, March 31 at local schools throughout Davidson County.

The clinics are offered each year in March. The first clinic held March 17 drew 2,282 dogs and 758 cats, said Bobby Nichols, Metro Health division director of general sanitation.

Last year, about 6,500 dogs and 2,100 cats were vaccinated through the program.
