Titan1 - I can't help if you are retarded. I'm sure you can get some government assistance.

I am grateful this administration decided to close yesterday instead of at 7:30 this morning! It's a pleasant change from the previous administration. My daughter leaves at 6:05 am to catch the first of 2 Metro buses to reach her school. Then there are all the elementary school kids locked out because mom and dad left... No thanks. Better to close the barn door before the horse gets out, not after.

When I was a kid we went to school all winter and got out early all of May... our principal was from Minnesota, but then again, Illinois has road crews that know what to do and people are use to driving in it.

Since I got hit by a southern driver, I don't go out in this junk. I wish more people would stay home as well.

Very well said, Marymeet. One of my daughters is a school teacher and it makes things much easier when they make an early decision,
