More snow possible for Christmas weekend

The Christmas weekend could bring additional snow in the wake of Santa’s visit, as the Nashville office of the National Weather Service is predicting a 50 percent chance of white flakes Saturday.

The forecast sees a snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches to join a light dusting already on the ground.

For Christmas day, snow is likely, with a high of 32 and the chance of precipitation 70 percent. Saturday night, the Nashville area is expected to brace for a low of about 25.

Sunday should bring a 50 percent chance of scattered snow showers and a high of 31. Sunday night is expected to be cold, with a low of only 22.

How many times are the weather people going to send the masses scurrying to the super markets for bread & milk and then nothing happens?
