Nashvillians flying out of the city for the holidays and who would prefer to not hassle with parking at the Nashville International Airport can opt, instead, for the Metro Transit Authority’s Route 18 bus.

Route 18 Airport/Elm Hill Pike operates hourly express service daily to and from downtown and the airport and for $1.60 each way.

From downtown, riders can catch the bus at Bay 18 on the lower level of Music City Central, which is located at 400 Charlotte Ave. Two of the MTA buses that serve the airport have been fitted with luggage bins to accommodate travelers.

At the airport, buses stop at the MTA bus stop located on Level 1 ground transportation. For the return trip, passengers can catch the bus back to MCC at this location.
