Neighbors win design fight

In what neighbors called a victory for neighborhood conservation zoning, the Metro Historic Zoning Commission voted unanimously Thursday that the developer of a Richland-West End home under construction must rectify improprieties to the building.

The vote follows a vigorous effort from the west side neighborhood group to monitor the work of developer Jeremy Boczulak, who must now re-do the side gable and windows of the home, located at 3638 Richland Ave.
