No time wasted in Preds

The Nashville Predators have 180 minutes left to earn a spot in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Searching for their first victory of the season over the Chicago Blackhawks Tuesday night, the Predators played with the urgency of a team listening to the ticking of a clock. Nashville needed only 35 seconds to score their first goal of the game on the way to a 5-2 victory at the Gaylord Entertainment Center. The five goals were one short of the total the Predators had scored against Chicago in their previous four games.
