Old Hickory hot spot

Old Hickory Village is suffering from a rash of fires that has the community organizing and the police department and fire department puzzled.

Citizens gathered Thursday evening at the Old Hickory Community Center to start a neighborhood watch group.

Cars, trucks, trees, hedges and swimming pools are a few of the things that have been set ablaze in recent weeks. However, accounts of the fires and their number seem to vary between residents and the police.
