Pearl-Cohn High School was placed on lockdown just after 11:30 Tuesday morning following a report of a home invasion near the school.

Metro police had part of Booker Street closed between 24th and 25th avenues while police continued to investigate the reported invasion and search for the suspects.

A Metro Nashville Public Schools spokeswoman said the lockdown at the high school was lifted at about 1:20 p.m. and that there had been no indication that students were involved in the incident.
