Metro Police is hoping the public can help locate a 20-year-old woman of Somali descent missing since Tuesday, Oct. 6.

Detectives say Amina Lugundi was last seen at 2 p.m. last Tuesday leaving Cohn Adult Learning Center on Park Avenue in west Nashville. It was Lugundi’s routine to ride an MTA bus from school to her home on S. 7th Street, but her family has not heard from her since.

According to police, Lugundi is 4’10” tall and weighs 175 pounds. She was last known to be wearing a black hijab (head covering) with sparkles. She does not have any medical or mental issues.

Anyone seeing Lugundi or knowing her whereabouts is urged to call 862-7366.
