Police discovered a mobile meth lab in South Nashville last night after receiving a drug complaint from a citizen.

Metro Nashville Police Department South Precinct officers investigated the call at 4912 Shasta Drive at around 9:40 p.m. on Tuesday night. They found and detained Corey Banks, 24, and Peter York, 35. A third accomplice, Jessica Mayberry, fled the scene — but was eventually found passed out on the steps outside of an apartment building.

Police found the makeshift meth lab inside a car with Banks and York. The two men claimed the materials belonged to Mayberry.

All three were charged with manufacture of meth within 1,000 feet of a childcare facility and possession of drug paraphernalia. Mayberry's bond was set at $37,500, while Banks and York are being jailed in lieu of $40,000 bond.
