Ex-con Robert Earl Dodson was arrested by Madison Precinct detectives Wednesday afternoon on a charge of attempted murder after allegedly stabbing a man at Peeler Park Tuesday morning.
According to police, Dodson, 26, stabbed Scottie Selvage, 34, following an argument. Selvage went to the park in a vehicle with Dodson and three other people he knew, according to the Metro Nashville Police Department.
Dodson’s arrest history includes multiple counts of sex crimes that he was indicted for in 2006. He was convicted of two counts of attempted aggravated sexual battery against a child and received a sentence of eight years.
