James Pigue, 53, of Templewood Drive, was fatally stabbed outside Double E Bar & Grill at 4957 Lebanon Pike Sunday night, Metro Police said.

The suspect in the case, Leo Knowles, 30, of Goodlettsville, is cooperating with Hermitage Precinct detectives in the investigation, police said.

Pigue and Knowles allegedly got into a verbal argument inside the bar at 10 p.m. Knowles and a friend were asked to leave. After Knowles went outside, Pigue and a friend also exited the business concerned that Knowles might damage their motorcycles.
