Police identify man killed after jumping from moving vehicle

Metro police have identified a man who died after apparently jumping from a moving car on Interstate 24 Sunday evening.

The driver of the Nissan Altima told police 25-year-old Jose Lozano had been drinking and gave no warning before he jumped from the car at 6:30 p.m. Sunday.

Three other cars hit Lozano after he jumped from the front passenger seat of the Altima on I-24 near Old Hickory Boulevard.

He died at the scene.
