Police on Thursday named a suspect in two Germantown burglaries last week.

Following an investigation that developed 21-year-old Mack Hall as a suspect in the Jan. 27 break-ins on Fifth Avenue North at Zackie’s Original Hotdog and Cocoa Tree, detectives obtained warrants charging him with two counts of burglary.

Officers found what they called a getaway van just hours after the burglaries and later identified Hall as the suspect. His last known residence is on Elmhurst Avenue in East Nashville, and he has previous convictions for possessing cocaine, police said.

Police ask anyone with information about Hall’s whereabouts to call Central Precinct detectives at 862-7044 or Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.

The public can also send an electronic tip to Crime Stoppers by texting the word “CASH” along with their message to 274637 (CRIMES) or online at www.nashvillecrimestoppers.com.
