Police this morning arrested a Nashville man in connection with a 2004 murder that had gone cold before investigators took a renewed interest recently.
Antonie Lamont Howse, a convicted felon, has been charged with the murder of Donrico Orlando Waters, who was 31 at the time of his death. According to police, Waters was shot and killed near the intersection of 43rd Avenue and Albion Street on the night of Oct. 23, 2004.
A second look at the case and a sealed indictment from a Nashville grand jury led detectives to Howse, 42, whose record includes felony cocaine possession. He was arrested in south Nashville Tuesday morning without incident.
