Metro police are looking for a missing west Nashville woman and are asking for the public’s help in finding her.

Harrietta Wade, 59, suffers from dementia and was last seen around 2 p.m. Friday on the porch of her home in 2900 block of Torbett Street, police said. Her family reported her missing just before noon Monday.

Family members and neighbors told police Wade is very forgetful and doesn’t usually leave her home without a family member.

Wade is a black woman with black hair and weighs about 145 pounds. She is 5 feet, 4 inches tall and believed to be wearing a purple halter top with green pants and black shoes.

Police urged anyone knowing Wade’s whereabouts to call the Emergency Communications Center at 862-8600.
