Metro police are asking the public to help find a missing woman who is mentally challenged and suffers from hypoglycemia and seizures.

Jamella Finnie, 31, was last seen outside the Walmart at 5824 Nolensvile Pike at 2:15 p.m. Thursday. She was a passenger in a car driven by 51-year-old Craig Townsend, who is married to Finnie's mother. The mother told police that while she was inside the store, her husband drove off with Finnie.

Police are looking for a 2004 brown Kia Optima sedan with Tennessee license plate 397-VLF. Finnie's mother told officers her daughter requires life-sustaining medication that her husband does not have in his possession.

Finnie is black, 5-foot, 3-inches tall, weighs 115 pounds and has shoulder-length, braided hair. She was last seen wearing blue jeans, white tennis shoes and gold earrings.

Police urge anyone seeing Finnie or Townsend to contact the Emergency Communications Center at 862-8600.
