A Goodlettsville man is facing charges stemming from the June 28 fatal stabbing outside a Hermitage bar — an incident that he claimed was self-defense, Metro Police said Thursday.
Leo Knowles, 30, is facing second-degree murder charges in the stabbing death of James Pigue, 53, outside Double E Bar & Grill at 4957 Lebanon Pike.
At the time of the incident, police said Pigue and Knowles got into a verbal argument inside the bar. Knowles was asked to leave, and Pigue followed him out. They got into a fight outside that ended when Pigue was stabbed.
Pigue, of Templewood Drive, was transported to Summit Medical Center where he died.
Knowles is free on $50,000 bond.
The guy's up on murder charges and out free on bail ?
What kind of idiotic "justice" system is that ?
Monte Wakins was the judge who made that decision.
you guys need to brush up on the constitution.... also for what he is charged with bail is about right to begin with
Verdict was not guilt.
