Police searching for shooter in home invasion

Metro Police are looking for two men who broke into an Edgehill apartment early Tuesday morning and shot one of the occupants.

Police said the incident occurred just after 2 a.m. on Hillside Drive, which is near Reservoir Park.

Witnesses told police the suspects kicked in the front door, asked where the man was and went to his room and shot him. The suspects then fled.

The victim was shot once in the leg. He was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with non-lifethreatening injuries.
