Police are looking for a 19-year-old previously convicted robber they suspect is responsible for three armed hold-ups this month, including two on Tuesday afternoon.
South Precinct detectives believe Quincy Deal — last known to have lived on Tobylynn Drive — was involved in three separate armed hold-ups in apartment complex parking lots in southern Davidson County.
Police have sworn out arrest warrants against Deal for aggravated robbery, aggravated kidnapping and aggravated assault. Deal is on probation after he was convicted last year and sentence for attempted especially aggravated robbery. He served one year in prison and was then given nine years of probation for that conviction.
Tuesday’s victims both identified Deal as one of the suspects involved first in a robbery at 499 Swiss Ave. at 3 p.m. and then again an hour later in the same parking lot.
Police said the victim of a June 8 robbery outside a Wallace Road apartment complex also identified Deal as one of the suspects who forced him into a car and then shot at him as he ran from the vehicle. Police arrested Terry McKissack, 20, last week following his alleged role in the robbery.
Anyone with information on Deal’s location can call Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME.
