Metro police are looking for a man wanted for attempted murder after a Tuesday evening shooting that injured a 17-year-old.

Detectives believe Chastain Montgomery, 18, is responsible for shooting Patrick Allen Pruitt outside a hair products business on Mt. View Road at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.

As Pruitt left the store to get into his brother’s car, Montgomery allegedly yelled at Pruitt before shooting him.

Police do not yet have a motive for the shooting, but said the two know each other from high school and had argued in the past.

Montgomery’s last known address is on Wolverine Trail in La Vergne. Police urge anyone knowing his whereabouts to call Crime Stoppers at 74-CRIME or text the word “CASH” along with a message to 274637 (CRIMES).

Notice the absence of comments like, "I am proud to say I teach at a Metro school..." when these news stories hit the web.

The article said that so far, no MOTIVE had been found. Nowadays, these stretgang members or streetgang wanna be's don't need a motive except to make there streetscumbag friends think they badass when in actuallity they're nothing but wusses!! They need to have a weapon of some sort to harm someone! If they don't have a weapon they gang up on a single person so they don't stand a chance. Let them fight ONE ON ONE WITHOUT a weapon and see how long they last!! I STILL SAY, take these ground scum sucking steetgangs members and ALL the streetgang wanna be's and put them in a steel walled round room with NO way to get out and give them all ak-47s and let them ALL kill each other!!! That way we need NOT worry about them anymore!!!
