Police in Franklin want the public’s help identifying a man who groped two female shoppers at the Cool Springs Target in two separate incidents.

The first incident occurred at 2:40 p.m. on Dec. 3, and the second took place on Jan. 13 at about 12:15 p.m.

Franklin police released a TBI artist’s composite sketch (seen here) of the man believed to be responsible for the assaults.

In both cases, the man approached the victims inside the store and complimented them on the boots they were wearing.

He claimed to have worked in the shoe business before squatting down and grabbing each woman on the inside area of her leg before leaving the store.

The man is described as a white male, possibly in his late 50s or early 60s. He is believed to be about 5-foot-7 and was described as having a belly and short gray hair.

Those with information about the case can call the Franklin Police Department at 794-2513 or email flex@franklintn.gov.
