Police seek public's help finding robber of SunTrust bank

Metro police are seeking the public’s help identifying the man who robbed a Murfreesboro Pike SunTrust bank Monday morning.

The man walked into the bank at 530 Murfreesboro Pike at about 8:45 a.m., implied he had a gun and fled on foot after a teller gave him money, police said. The suspect is described as approximately 5-feet-11-inches and weighing about 170 pounds.

At the time of the robbery, he wore a green T-shirt that read “ACE Bridge Building Co.” over a dark-colored, hooded sweatshirt. He also wore jeans, and a red-and-black ball cap with the number 8 on it.

Police believe the man is in his 40s. He has brown hair and a mustache.
