Metro Police Specialized Investigations Division detectives have charged a Green Hills resident with promoting prostitution after determining that the “Holistic Massage-Complete Stress Relief!” service she advertised in a weekly newspaper also allegedly involved sex acts.

Veronica Wright, 61, of 4117 Lone Oak Road, was booked on the felony offense Tuesday.

Wright’s ad contained a telephone number and said that appointments were available from 9 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday-Saturday, police said. Through the use of a police operative, who made an appointment and went to Wright’s home Tuesday, detectives said they learned that she charged $70 per hour for a massage, but would also allegedly request an additional $100 to perform a sex act.

Records found in the home showed that Wright had a number of clients, police said.

Wright was arrested on misdemeanor prostitution charges in June 2008 for operating a similar business from a home on Kimbark Drive in Green Hills, according to police. The court judgment was deferred in that case, for which Wright still owes $516 in court costs.

Wright’s bond on the promoting prostitution charge is set at $3,000.

I am so glad murder, rape, robbery and home invasions have been eliminating. allowing the police to focus on these offenses.

She should be well represented in Court since the property is owned by a well known Attorney!
