Predators make moves to bolster playoff chances

Few players on the Nashville Predators roster polarized fans like defenseman Drake Berehowsky.

Many fans thought that Berehowsky was not aggressive enough as a defenseman. Some thought he was too handsome to be a hockey player. And then there were those who recognized the fact that he was near the top of the list in terms of playing time for the Predators and that his presence was felt on both the power play and penalty killing special teams.

Berehowsky had six goals, 18 assists and 100 penalty minutes in 66 games this season. He had played in 219 games for the Predators, more than any other defenseman. He was the franchise
