Preds lock in goalie Rinne for two years

The Nashville Predators have locked in goaltender Pekka Rinne with a two-year contract.

Rinne is expected to be the backup this season to Chris Mason, who inherited the No. 1 spot when the Predators traded Tomas Vokoun to the Florida Panthers Friday night for three draft picks.
