Preds will have options

When the National Hockey League returns to the ice, there will be a number of changes from rules to goaltender equipment. As part of that new look, the Nashville Predators may have a few new faces.

Once a new Collective Bargaining Agreement is signed, there will be approximately 120 unrestricted free agents on the market. While the salary cap number has not been confirmed, there is no doubt the Predators, with the lowest payroll in the league at between $22 million and $23 million, would have plenty of money to pursue some top quality talent.
