Class 4A

White House (9-0, 6-0 in 6-4A) at Pearl-Cohn (1-8, 1-6): White House can take the Region 6-4A title with a win over the 1-8 Firebirds Friday night. But a White House stumble against Pearl-Cohn means the region title will go to Stratford, providing the 9-0 Spartans can take care of 1-8 Rossview. Pearl, out of the playoffs, will look to keep its momentum going from a 25-16 win over Whites Creek (3-6, 2-4) last week and put a capper on a tumultuous season that saw them forfeit its first two games.

Class 5A

Franklin (8-1, 5-1 in 6-5A) at Dickson County (4-5, 3-3): The three front-runners in Region 6-5A are on the road Friday night. No game is a definite and before the night is through there could be a rather sizeable shake-up in the final standings. Franklin must have a win and hope for a Brentwood (7-2, 5-1) loss if it wants to take the region championship. The Rebels pasted Kenwood last week, but struggled in a win against Ravenwood the week before. Though Dickson County is on a five-game losing streak, they still have an outside shot at the playoffs. The Cougars have to beat Franklin and hope for a Centennial loss to be included in the post season.
