CPA (3-2) at Ezell-Harding (4-1)

In a big matchup of old Class 1A district rivals and two teams owning state titles within the past four years, this game is a key mid-season showdown for playoff positioning in Region 5-2A. It begins a season-ending stretch of five straight region games for both. CPA is starting to round into shape after a solid 32-0 win over BGA as Connor Lowery (3) and Michael Hogue (1) combined to throw four TD passes and the defense limited BGA to 110 total yards. Ezell has bounced back with three straight wins after their lone loss to Fairview, 15-13. QB Dallis Dixon passed for 227 yards and one TD and scored two more for the Eagles last week. CPA has won the last two meetings, including 42-17 last year.
