Metro police have arrested two men in connection to the weekend break-in at Red Rooster Bar & Music Hall on Demonbreun Street.

A manager told police he discovered a safe, computer and Jack Daniels guitar were missing when he arrived at the business at 11:30 a.m. Sunday.

Travis Templin, 20, a vendor that supplied the business, was identified as a suspect after police reviewed surveillance video. During an interview, police said Templin identified Kyle Heggan, 20, as the second burglar. Both men admitted they broke into the business, according to police.

The safe was recovered at Templin’s Brentwood home, police said. Heggan, of Nolensville, returned the guitar and computer. Both men said they split the cash. Nearly $8,000 was recovered.

Templin and Heggan are both charged with burglary and are free on $10,000 bond each.
