Schoolbus drivers ask for help controlling students

Metro school officials have asked for $400,000 in the new school budget to alleviate what are at least distracting, and potentially dangerous situations involving students on special education buses.

The money would pay for 25 bus assistants to monitor the children while the driver pays attention to the road.
