Schools put Hunters Lane on lock down

Administrators briefly locked down Hunters Lane High School today around 11 a.m. after a student reported knowledge of a gun at the school, according to Metro Nashville Public Schools spokesperson Noelle Mashburn.

Metro Police responded to the situation and searched the school. They found the report to be false, she said.

The lockdown has since been lifted, she said.
