Season-long problem helps finish Preds

They talked about it. They yelled about it. They promised to fix it.

But they never really did.

Too many penalties had been an issue for the Nashville Predators all season. The quarterfinals of the Stanley Cup playoffs were no different as too many penalties spelled the end of the season. The San Jose Sharks scored a pair of power-play goals and the Predators answered with one in a 2-1 loss Sunday night in front of 16,061 fans at the Gaylord Entertainment Center. The win gave the Sharks a 4-1 series win.
