Nine area teen-agers are busy planning to welcome 13 French students July 9 for the American part of a Sisters Cities summer exchange program. The nine recently returned from Caen, France.

They met at Brentwood Academy Monday to discuss their trip, exchange pictures and plan for the stay of the French students, who will visit Nashville July 9-22.

For two weeks, some of the students lived on farms and some in a town setting. But they all agreed that through the exchange they had an insight into French culture they would not have gained in any other way.

The program is open to all Nashville students. The nine finalists are students from Father Ryan, Montgomery Bell Academy, Harpeth Hall, Hume-Fogg, and Antioch high schools.
