Snow blankets Nashville area

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for Nashville, as snow began covering the city late Wednesday afternoon.

For Wednesday night, expect more snow — mainly before midnight — and a low of about 14. The chance of precipitation is 90 percent, with new snow accumulation of up to 2 inches possible.
