The Nashville Sounds will be seeing plenty of red as they return to Greer Stadium to open an eight-game homestand.

Nashville begins a four-game set with the Oklahoma RedHawks in a game that will be a homecoming for former Montgomery Bell Academy and University of Tennessee pitcher R.A. Dickey.

Dickey, who went 0-1 with a 6.75 ERA during four games with the Texas Rangers, is 2-1 with a 6.23 ERA for the RedHawks.

After the series with the RedHawks, the Memphis Redbirds come to Greer Stadium for a four-game series.

The Sounds will not face Rick Ankiel during the series. The left-hander, recently demoted by the St. Louis Cardinals after being beset by continual control problems, is scheduled to pitch Sunday in Memphis against New Orleans.

The Sounds have had problems of their own recently. A 5-4 loss Tuesday night at New Orleans left Nashville with a 17-21 record, and in last place, in the Pacific Coast League
