The Iowa Cubs scored three runs in the first inning and three runs in the third inning to coast to a 6-2 win over the Nashville Sounds Thursday night at Sec Taylor Stadium.

Sounds starter Justin Reid lasted just two innings, allowing six runs on nine hits.
