Speed humps

The first speed humps in a pilot project to slow traffic in five Nashville neighborhoods have been put in place and they seem to be working.

Spot checks done by Public Works on Gibson Drive have shown speed humps have slowed traffic, in some cases from 40 miles per hour to just under 30 miles per hour, according to Public Works spokesperson Roxanna Pierce.
